The Republic no longer functions ! The appearance of the Goooh party, and the Coffee party and the Tea party are just the tip of the iceberg. I believe that there will be more developments of this nature in the near future and that an alliance of these groups will occur that will rival the power and scope of the American Revolutionary war era group known as the "Sons of Liberty." That secret group comprised of men like Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Bejamin Franklin, Samuel Adams and others, worked to create a revolt against the British monarchy. The nation in this century is much larger than it was in the 1700's, (300 % larger), but that does not mean that Americans don't still have the revolutionary spirit instilled in them at birth, and those who are immigrants adopt that same spirit of Independence and in fact are often more patriotic in that way than natural born citizens are.
Earth and the entire Universe are always changing, this is the nature of existence. Humans often can see the need for change coming into existence and I believe that this is one of those moments in history.[b][/b][blink]
