Re: Why I'm leaving Goooh

How long has the Constitution Party been around, and why has it not made progress? We think it is because it doesn't solve any of the core issues confronting us (special interest money, career politicians, accountability). It's great to say any one party has all the perfect answers, but society is far too fragmented. Further, no one party is every going to break the stranglehold the two parties have on the system. A classic third party is never going to win, at least in our opinion.

You also seem to be missing the most fundamental apsect of GOOOH - there are not right or wrong answer to any question. A Constitutionalist will not vote for amending the Constitution, so vote against. It's not hard. Guns, do you really believe the right to bear arms is unabridged?

We admit GOOOH isn't for everyone, but hope the entire Consitution Party will use GOOOH as the process to elect a person who represents them. If you try to go it on your own, as yet one more third party, you will lose and we will continue to get the same results we always have. This is a chess game. It's time to quit playing checkers.

Why I'm leaving Goooh

The basic idea of GOOOH sounds nice, but there's too much affiliation to a political platform involved. Agreeing to vote certain ways sounds too much like what we have now. In your commitment letter, you make it a contract for candidates to support what GOOOH  and not necessarily what the people of their district want (excluding GOOOH members). Also, I don't see what we TRULY need from our government here....a return to a Republic based on the laws that the Constitution lays out. The "issues" you put on the questionnaire are ridiculous. Things like abortion, immigration, term limits, what lawers make, question 12 (EXTREMELY unconstitutional), drugs, marriage, etc. ad infinitum. What about what the People need. Dissolution of central banking, State Government over Federal Government, a return to the gold standard... Christ, the Federal Reserve has put us into debt above our eyeballs! As long as it exists, printing money with no backing, debt will never go away. It is not up to Congress to say what State institutions can or cannot do. THEY DON'T HAVE THAT RIGHT!!!!!!! All this crap about ammending the Constitution for this and that.... Why not repeal the 16th Amendments (socialist). You talk about limiting Congressional pay to 4 times the median income... its a PART TIME JOB!!!! Limit it to what the poor guy who picks up the trash for the city makes. "Will you vote....the citizens right to bear arms? Another unneeded question. WE HAVE THAT RIGHT!!! Sorry if I'm rambling here. The point is that I don't see you changing anything for the better. We already have a political party trying to do what's right, The Constitutional Party. I'm not an afiliate, but at least they are committed to restoring this great Nation to the Republic it was meant to be. Please delete my account.
