The Washington Times, and others have writen of Blunt's suspect activities. The following can be found at http://www.washingtontimes.com/elections/candidate/47/
"Months before their marriage, Blunt endured criticism, and his relationship with Abigail was scrutinized, when it surfaced that Blunt tried to help tobacco giant Philip Morris in the 2002 homeland security bill. At the time, Abigail was a lobbyist for Philip Morris' parent company. Blunt pushed to amend the bill to stop the smuggling of contraband cigarettes. Democrats accused him of using his position in leadership to benefit a major campaign contributor. They also pointed out he was dating a company lobbyist and that his son, Andy, also lobbied for the company."
The Group Cituzen's for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington put Blunt on their list of the "13 Most Corrupt Members of Congress." http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P2-11958467.html
