Any person in America that can pass the screening exam and is willing to spend the time to participate is a GOOD candidate. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I agree with you apatriot76  that is why I suggested the lower amount to show that GOOOH was not about the money but about IDEAS and PRINCIPLES. A $1,000 fine for anyone who knowingly lies is very reasonable. If anything, make it $10,000.

I'm mixed on this screening question. I like the fact that members who participate must be willing to sign a sheet that says, in effect, they are not lying, but I wonder if it turns potential members away who fear there is a hidden agenda behind the question.

If you are going to keep the question, I prefer the higher amount. If someone isn't willing to sign such an agreement they are probably more interested in disrupting the process than anything else.

I also think it would be fun to see someone who is found to have lied on one of the questions try to explain his way out of it in small claims court.
