Google the phrase "GOOOH Meetup" and you will see we have over 1000 people wanting to join a group. We need leaders in cities everywhere. Please consider taking the lead in your locale.

We've had members from Colorado, Texas, California, Florida and Louisiana ask if there are any rules or guidelines for starting a Meetup - there are not. Our challenge for the next 18 months is simply to continue spreading the word about GOOOH. It will be painful as we watch 95% of the incumbents get re-elected, and few if any of the major problems get solved, but we must recognize we are running a marathon. Patience and perseverence will prevail. It will be clear when we have critical mass in membership, and then we will make our move.

I started a Denver GOOOH Meetup today.  Our first meeting is March 11, after and near a District Republican Party meeting. I am really new to this social networking stuff on the internet. There were no meetups and so I decided to just start on. I sure hope there are others who have signed up saying they are interested in any that are formed. Apparently there is a mechanism to have the meetup website email if there is a meetup organized based on specific interests. I will post after our first meeting.

 That's a great idea Thomas.  I'm planning to attend a Ron Paul meetup on Jan 7 and intend to bring it up.  Ron Paul supporters definitely understand the trouble we're in and would undoubtedly get behind the GOOOH initiative.

We need to get Ron Paul Meetup Groups to start talking about GOOOH. Imagine if his supporters would adopt this system!

GOOOH supporters have created local "GOOOH Meetups" in several cities via Meetup.com.  GOOOH Meetups are local groups of GOOOH supporters that host regular social events at restaurants, home parties, etc.  GOOOH Meetups are a great way to meet other GOOOH supporters in your area, learn more about GOOOH, and just have a great time!
