I think that the wording on #69 is too broad where it says "forfeited his rights from the time of the crime to the time he is released."
It would be better to say that they had "forfeited some rights" because they do not forfeit the right to due process, or the right against self-incrimination. On the other hand they do lose other rights such as certain property rights, privacy rights, and rights to free association. |
