I can't say I know the people in your district but in general most of the Latino people I have known are extremely fair minded and hard working. To reach them you have to get on common ground, faith, family, work, opportunity and downplay all references to parties. I'm my opinion, both parties have deserted the common man and both are bought and paid for by large special interests.

Convince them that socialism isn't the way to prosperity but mediocrity. Look at the countries around the world that are socialist and see them tumble. Not the ones funding programs with massive natural resources.

I feel for you being subject to a man avowed to be a socialist. Good luck in finding common ground. I truly believe that each of us are more alike than different. Politics is about magnifying the differences. Our duty should be to magnify our similarities and discuss the common sense path to achieving our common goals. Good luck to you. bjh
